Fine Sugar 500g

Spoon Brand Fine White Sugar is Japanese jōhakutō, a soft, moist white sugar, in a 500g pack. It is made by DM Mitsui Sugar under the Spoon brand (スプーン印), and the maker notes that jōhakutō is the sugar most used in Japan, for cooking, sweets and drinks alike.

How to use

• Stir into tea, coffee or lassi; the fine crystals dissolve quickly.
• Use it for halwa, payesh and other home-made sweets, or for cakes and cookies.
• Add a spoonful to Japanese dishes such as teriyaki or sukiyaki.
• Keep it sealed at room temperature, away from heat and humidity.
