Fresh Firni Mix 150g

Fresh Firni Mix is a dessert mix for making firni, the Bengali pudding of milk thickened with ground rice, in a 150g pack. It is made in Bangladesh under Meghna Group's Fresh label. Firni is a standard sweet for Eid, milad and family dawats.

How to use

• Use the amount of milk and any sugar the pack asks for.
• Bring the milk to a simmer, whisk in the mix, and stir over low heat until it thickens, so it does not catch on the bottom.
• Pour into small bowls or clay pots, let it cool, then chill before serving.
• Top with chopped pistachio or almonds if you like.
