Haldiram Kesar Rasbhari 1kg

Haldiram's Kesar Rasbhari is a canned Indian sweet of soft milk balls soaked in sugar syrup, in a 1kg can. Kesar means saffron, and Ambika Japan lists saffron among the colourings along with cardamom and rose flavouring. It is made in India.

How to use

• Warm the balls gently in their syrup before serving.
• Press a little syrup out of each one if you prefer it less sweet.
• Serve one or two as a dessert after a curry meal, with tea or coffee.
• Ambika Japan advises moving leftovers to a glass container in the fridge and eating them soon.
