Kachagolla 450g

Kachagolla is a soft Bengali sweet made from fresh chhana (curd cheese) and sugar, in a 450g pack. Its home is Natore District in the Rajshahi Division of Bangladesh. "Kacha" means raw: the chhana is kneaded with sugar instead of being fried or boiled in syrup, which leaves it moist and crumbly. It arrives chilled; store as directed on the pack.

How to use

• Serve small portions on a plate with tea when guests visit.
• Include it in a box of mishti to mark a wedding, an exam result or a new job.
• Scoop out what you need with a dry spoon and reseal the pack.
