Rosogollah 500g

Rosogolla, known in India as rasgulla, is a Bengali sweet of spongy white cheese balls in light sugar syrup, in a 500g pack. Families often share it with neighbours to mark good news, and it is a regular on Bengali sweet plates. It is shipped chilled; store as directed on the pack.

How to use

• Lift the balls out with a spoon and serve them cold with a little syrup.
• Squeeze one gently to drain the syrup if you want it less sweet.
• Offer them to guests with tea, or after a biryani meal.
