Baby Pabda 250g BD

Baby Pabda is a 250g pack of small halal pabda, the whiskered freshwater catfish that Bengali households cook for everyday meals. Being small, the fish cook through in a few minutes, which suits quick fries as well as light curries.

How to use

• Rinse gently and rub with salt and turmeric before cooking.
• Fry briefly in mustard oil, then simmer with aubergine (begun) and tomato for a homely pabda curry.
