Padma Beef Tripe 1 kg

Padma Beef Tripe is a 1kg pack of halal beef tripe, the edible stomach lining of cattle. Padma lists Australia as the origin. Known as bhuri in Bengali, tripe turns tender after long boiling and soaks up a spicy masala.

How to use

• Scrub well under running water, rubbing with salt or a little lemon juice, and rinse several times.
• Pressure-cook or simmer for a long time until soft, then cut into bite-sized strips.
• Fry the strips with onion, garlic, chilli and cumin for bhuri bhuna, or add to a mixed offal curry.
• Delivered chilled; store as directed on the pack.
