Bellaves Chicken Gizzard 450g

Bellaves Chicken Gizzard is a 450g pack of frozen halal chicken gizzards from Brazil. Called gila in Bengali, gizzards are firm and need gentle, slow cooking, and in Bangladeshi homes they are often cooked together with chicken liver.

How to use

• Thaw, rinse and halve each gizzard, removing any remaining inner lining.
• Pressure-cook with ginger-garlic paste, turmeric and salt until soft.
• Finish as gila-kolija bhuna with liver, onion and green chilli, or stir-fry with capsicum and soy sauce.
• Delivered chilled/frozen; store as directed on the pack.
