JB Beef Liver 1kg

JB Beef Liver is a 1kg pack of halal beef liver, called kolija in Bengali and kaleji in Urdu. It has a smooth, dense texture and a stronger taste than muscle meat, and in many South Asian homes it is cooked around Eid al-Adha.

How to use

• Peel off the thin outer membrane and cut out any tubes before slicing.
• For kaleji masala, fry thin strips quickly with onion, tomato, green chilli and black pepper.
• Thread cubes on skewers with onion and grill briefly, so the centre stays tender.
• Delivered chilled; store as directed on the pack.
