JB Boal Steak 800g

JB Boal Steak is an 800g pack of halal boal cut into steaks. Boal is the Bengali name for the wallago, a large freshwater catfish from South Asian rivers with smooth, scaleless skin and soft white flesh.

How to use

• Rinse the steaks and rub lightly with turmeric and salt; handle gently, as the flesh is soft.
• Simmer in boal macher jhol with potato, tomato and green chilli.
• Cook as a bhuna in onion and garlic paste until the sauce thickens around the fish.
• Delivered chilled; store as directed on the pack.
