JB Koi Fish Blk 800g

JB Koi Fish is an 800g pack of halal koi, the climbing perch of Bengali cooking and no relation to the ornamental carp of Japanese ponds. It is a small freshwater fish with tough scales, and its firm flesh keeps its shape in a thick gravy.

How to use

• Take care with the sharp fins and gill edges while preparing it.
• Fry lightly, then cook in a thin jhol with kohlrabi (ol kopi) or radish.
• Make a koi bhuna with onion paste, garlic and green chilli, and serve with plain rice.
