Padma Kajoli Fish 250g BD

Padma Kajoli Fish is a 250g pack of halal kajoli, a slim, almost see-through freshwater catfish also spelled kajuli. Padma lists Bangladesh as the origin. The fish are small and delicate, and in Bengali kitchens they are usually cooked whole in a thin, lightly spiced curry.

How to use

• Thaw and rinse gently, handling the fish as little as possible.
• Cook kajoli macher jhol with aubergine, potato and a pinch of nigella seeds (kalo jira).
• Fry lightly with turmeric and salt, then finish with onion and green chilli.
• Delivered chilled/frozen; store as directed on the pack.
