Padma Kaski Fish 250g

Padma Kaski Fish is a 250g pack of halal kaski, the tiny river sprat also known as kachki. Padma lists this 250g kaski as a product of Bangladesh. Each fish is only a few centimetres long, so there is no cutting to do: they go into the pan whole.

How to use

• Wash in a few changes of cold water, pick out any debris and drain well.
• Cook kachki chorchori with sliced potato, onion, green chilli and a little mustard oil until almost dry.
• Mix with rice flour, chopped onion and chilli and shallow-fry small spoonfuls as kachki bora.
• Delivered chilled/frozen; store as directed on the pack.
