Padma Pangash Steak 500gm

Padma Pangash Steak is a 500g pack of halal pangash, the pangasius catfish, cut into steaks. Padma sells it frozen as basa fish from Vietnam and calls it an easy-to-cook white fish. The flesh is soft and mild, with a layer of fat under the skin.

How to use

• Cook as pangash bhuna with plenty of onion, garlic and chilli until the sauce is thick.
• Simmer in a jhol with potato and a little cumin.
• Coat with turmeric, chilli and a little flour and pan-fry until crisp.
• Delivered chilled/frozen; store as directed on the pack.
