QUAIL BIRD 900g

Quail is a 900g pack of halal quail, a small bird whose meat is darker than chicken. Because each bird is small, quail cooks faster than chicken and suits roasting, grilling, frying or a spiced curry.

How to use

• Marinate in yoghurt, ginger-garlic paste, chilli and garam masala, then roast or grill until cooked through.
• Split the birds in half and shallow-fry them after marinating for a crisp finish.
• Cook a Bangladeshi-style koel curry in an onion, tomato and whole-spice gravy, and serve with rice or paratha.
• Store as directed on the pack.
