Ruhi Whole Cut 3kg Up

Ruhi Whole Cut is a whole halal ruhi, also called rui or rohu, cut into pieces from a fish of 3kg and up and sold by the kilogram. Rohu is a freshwater carp from the rivers of South Asia. A fish this size gives thick, meaty steaks from the middle and smaller pieces towards the tail.

How to use

• Fry the thick middle steaks, then finish them in doi rui, a yoghurt gravy, or in a kalia.
• Use the thinner tail pieces for a mustard jhol or a light curry with vegetables.
• If head pieces are included, simmer them with moong dal or rice for muri ghonto.
• Divide into meal-sized portions on arrival. Delivered chilled; store as directed on the pack.
