JB Ruhi Whole Cut is one whole halal ruhi cut into pieces, in a 2kg pack. Ruhi, also called rui or rohu, is a freshwater carp from South Asian rivers, and buying the whole fish gives you back, belly and tail pieces for different dishes.

How to use

• Fry the pieces lightly with turmeric and salt, then finish in rui kalia or a jhol with potato and cauliflower.
• Keep the belly pieces for a simple fry with rice.
• If the head is in the pack, cook it with moong dal or rice as muri ghonto.
