JB Tengra Clean 800g IQ

JB Tengra Clean is an 800g pack of halal tengra, cleaned and ready to cook. Tengra are small whiskered catfish from Bangladesh and eastern India, too small to cut into steaks, so they go into the pot whole and are eaten off the bone.

How to use

• Check for any remaining fin spines and snip them off with kitchen scissors.
• Simmer in a light turmeric and cumin jhol with potato, aubergine and tomato.
• For a thicker dish, cook with onion, green chilli and mustard paste until the sauce clings to the fish.
• Delivered chilled; store as directed on the pack.
