Ambika Food Color Yellow 100g

Ambika Food Color Yellow is a yellow food colouring for home cooking and sweets, in a 100 g pack. Ambika Japan lists India as the origin and tartrazine, known in Japan as Food Yellow No. 4, as the colourant. It gives the bright yellow seen in festive rice and many Indian sweets.

How to use

• Ambika suggests it for sweets and biryani.
• For biryani, dilute a very small amount in a spoonful of water or milk and drizzle it over the top layer of rice before steaming, so some grains stay white.
• Add a touch to jalebi batter or laddu mixture.
• Start small and add more only if needed, then close the pack tightly and keep it dry.
