Ambika Jaggery Cubes 500g

Ambika Jaggery Cubes are small cubes of jaggery, the unrefined cane sugar also called gur or gud, in a 500 g pack. Ambika lists India as the origin and sugarcane, calcium hydroxide and okra extract (a thickener) as the ingredients. The cube shape lets you take only as much as a recipe needs.

How to use

• Drop a cube into chai or coffee in place of sugar.
• Melt into payesh, halwa and pitha.
• Add a little to sambar, dal or slow-cooked stews for a gentle sweetness, as Ambika suggests.
• Simmer with tamarind for the sweet-sour chutney served with samosa and chaat.
• Keep in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
