Ambika Mustard Oil 1lt

Ambika Mustard Oil is oil pressed from mustard seeds, in a 1 L pack. It has a strong, pungent aroma and a sharp, hot taste, and is also known as sarson ka tel or rai oil. It is the everyday cooking oil in Bengali kitchens.

How to use

• Fry fish, vegetables and spices in it, or use it for tempering.
• Use it in pickles, bhorta and dressings; for a milder taste, heat it first and let it cool, as Ambika suggests.
• It gives off a lot of smoke when heated, so keep the kitchen well ventilated.
