Ambika Rice Flake 400g

Ambika Rice Flake is flattened rice, known as poha in India and chira in Bangladesh, in a 400 g pack. Ambika says the rice is parboiled and then flattened, so the flakes need little or no cooking, and lists India as the origin.

How to use

• Rinse briefly and drain, then stir-fry with onion, potato, peanuts, turmeric and green chilli to make poha.
• Soak in milk or water with sugar or jaggery for a quick sweet breakfast.
• Fry lightly in oil with nuts and raisins for a crunchy snack.
• After opening, seal the pack tightly and keep it cool and dry.
