Ambika Suji 500g

Ambika Suji is wheat semolina, also called sooji or rava, in a 500 g pack. It is used across South Asia for both sweet and savoury dishes, from sujir halua to upma.

How to use

• Dry-roast it in a little ghee until it smells toasty before making halua or upma.
• For halua, cook the roasted suji with milk or water, sugar and cardamom until it thickens.
• Use it to coat fish or vegetable slices before shallow frying for a crisp crust.
• Store as directed on the pack.
