Aromatic Rice Banoful 1kg

Banoful Aromatic Rice is a fragrant rice from Bangladesh in a 1kg pack. PADMA, a food importer in Japan, lists this Banoful pack with Bangladesh as its origin. Bangladeshi aromatic rice is usually a small-grained type, kept for polao, biryani and sweet rice dishes rather than for plain everyday rice.

How to use

• Wash gently in two or three changes of water and drain well.
• Make polao by frying the rice in ghee with bay leaf, cardamom and cinnamon before adding hot water.
• Use it for jorda, the sweet saffron-coloured rice served at weddings and Eid.
• Store as directed on the pack.
