Bashundhara Suji (500g)

Bashundhara Suji is wheat semolina from Bangladesh, in a 500 g pack. Bashundhara makes it from wheat and suggests it for sweets such as suji halua, suji barfi and aflatoon.

How to use

• For suji halua, roast the suji in ghee over low heat until it smells toasty and turns light gold, then stir in hot sugar syrup or milk until thick.
• Cook it with onion, green chilli and vegetables for a savoury upma.
• Mix it with a little chilli and salt to coat fish or potato slices before shallow-frying.
