California Calrose Rice 5kg

California Calrose Rice is medium-grain white rice in a 5 kg pack. Calrose is a rice variety first released to California growers in 1948, and its grains cook soft and cling together, closer to Japanese rice than to basmati.

How to use

• Rinse until the water runs clearer, then cook it in a rice cooker on the white rice setting.
• Serve it plain with curry, or use it for fried rice, onigiri and rice bowls.
• Its sticky texture also suits sushi rice and rice puddings.
