Hilife Soya Chunks

Hilife Soya Chunks are dried soya chunks, sold in Nepal as soyabean masyaura, in a 200 g pack. Hilife is a Nepali food brand made by Hilife Foods of Kathmandu. Once soaked, the chunks turn soft and spongy and take on the flavour of whatever sauce they are cooked in.

How to use

• Boil or soak in hot water until soft, then squeeze out the water like a sponge and rinse.
• Cook into a masyaura curry with onion, tomato and spices, or add to pulao and fried rice.
• Fry the squeezed chunks with spices before adding liquid so they pick up more flavour.
• Keep the pack closed and dry after opening.
