Ambika Kala Namak 100g

Ambika Kala Namak is Indian black salt, ground to a fine powder, in a 100 g pack. Ambika Japan lists India as the origin and black rock salt as the only ingredient. Despite the name, the powder is pinkish grey, with the sulphur note that gives chaat its distinctive savoury edge.

How to use

• Finish papdi chaat, aloo tikki or chana chaat with a light sprinkle.
• Ambika Japan suggests a pinch on grilled steak, boiled vegetables or in mango and guava juice.
• Mix into mint chutney, raita or your own chaat masala.
• Seal the pack well after opening and keep it dry.
