Padma Classic Basmati Rice 5kg

Padma Classic Basmati Rice is a long-grain basmati rice from India, sold in a 5 kg pack by the Japanese importer Padma. It is an everyday choice for rice served alongside curry as well as for festive dishes.

How to use

• Wash in two or three changes of water before cooking to remove loose starch.
• Fry cumin seeds in ghee, add the rice and water, and cook covered for jeera rice.
• Cook in stock with whole spices for a chicken or vegetable pulao.
• Serve plain with dal, bhuna or korma.
