Pran Rose Water 300g

Pran Rose Water is rose water for the kitchen in a 300 g pack, from the Bangladeshi brand PRAN. A Japanese shop lists it as a product of Bangladesh. Known in Bengali as golap jol, it gives a floral scent to festive rice, milk sweets and cold drinks.

How to use

• Sprinkle a little over kacchi biryani or morog polao before the final steaming.
• Stir a few drops into shemai, jorda or payesh once it is off the heat.
• Add a splash to faluda, cold milk or lemon sherbet.
• Measure it by the drop at first, since too much can overpower a dish.
