Ambika Raisin Brown 100g

Ambika Raisin Brown is a 100g pack of small brown raisins from India, with thin, soft skins. Grapes are the only ingredient, and Ambika Japan notes they are not coated in oil, so they go straight into cooking or baking. Across South Asia they are called kishmish.

How to use

• Stir into kheer, payesh or semai near the end of cooking.
• Fry briefly in ghee with cashews to top biryani or pulao.
• Eat a handful as a snack or add some to a lunchbox.
• Keep in a cool, dry place and seal well after opening.
