Tapal Danedar Tea (450g)

Tapal Danedar Black Tea is a granular black tea from Pakistan, in a 450g pack. Tapal launched Danedar in 1987, and the ingredient is simply black tea leaves. The larger pack suits homes that brew strong tea several times a day.

How to use

• For doodh patti, boil the tea directly in milk with sugar until it turns a deep caramel colour, then strain.
• For karak chai, brew it strong in water first, add milk and simmer a little longer.
• Start with about a teaspoon per cup and adjust to taste.
• Keep it in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight.
