How to use

• Fry a spoonful in oil with the onions for a minute or two before adding meat or vegetables, so it loses its raw taste.
• Stir it into bhuna, curries, stews and soups for colour and a deeper tomato taste.
• Use it in pasta sauces, or in Turkish-style pilaf and bulgur.
• Once the tin is open, move what is left into a covered container and keep it in the fridge.
