Ambika Ajwain Seed 100g

Ambika Ajwain Seed is whole ajwain, also called carom seed, in a 100 g pack. Ambika lists it as a product of India. The seeds look like cumin but taste sharper, with a slight tingle on the tongue, so a small pinch goes a long way.

How to use

• Knead a pinch into dough for paratha, puri or chapati, or into besan batter for pakora.
• Fry in hot oil or ghee as a tadka for dal and root vegetables.
• Add to the dough for samosa, kachori and namkeen.
• Ambika's staff suggest grinding it with chilli flakes as a topping for udon or soba.
