Ambika Peas White Dry Whole 1kg

Ambika Peas White Dry Whole are dried whole white peas, also called safed matar, in a 1 kg pack. They are the peas behind ragda in Mumbai street food, and chotpoti and ghugni in Bengali cooking.

How to use

• Soak overnight, then boil or pressure-cook until soft enough to mash lightly.
• Simmer with onion, tomato and spices for ragda or ghugni.
• For chotpoti, top the cooked peas with potato, boiled egg, onion, chilli and tamarind water.
• Store as directed on the pack.
