Ambika Fenugreek Whole 100g

Ambika Fenugreek Whole is whole fenugreek seed, known as methi, in a 100 g pack. Ambika lists India as the origin and suggests the seeds for dals, bean and vegetable dishes, and fish and seafood dishes. They are not the same as kasoori methi, which is the dried leaf.

How to use

• Use only a pinch, as the seeds taste bitter.
• Fry a few seeds briefly in hot oil at the start of a fish curry or dal, before they turn dark.
• Add them to panch phoron and to homemade pickles.
• Keep cool, dry and sealed, away from direct sunlight.
