Ambika Green Cardamom Whole 50g

Ambika Green Cardamom Whole is whole green cardamom pods in a 50 g pack, the form to use when the spice should simmer in rice, curry or tea. Ambika gives India as the origin. Brown (black) cardamom is a different spice with a very different aroma, so check which one your recipe asks for.

How to use

• Lightly crush a few pods before adding them to biryani, pulao, korma or a pan of chai.
• For sweets, open the pods, take out the small seeds and grind them.
• In India a pod is sometimes chewed slowly after a meal as a mouth freshener.
• Keep the pack sealed in a cool, dry place after opening.
