Beef Masala Radhuni 100g

Radhuni Beef Masala is a pre-mixed spice blend for Bangladeshi-style beef curry, in a 100 g pack. Its maker, Square Food & Beverage in Bangladesh, says you only need to add onion, salt and oil. The blend includes turmeric, chilli, coriander, garlic, ginger, cumin, cinnamon, cardamom, clove and mace.

How to use

• Square's recipe uses 25 g of masala (about 12 teaspoons) with 1 kg of beef, a cup of chopped onion and 120 ml of oil, so one pack covers about four batches.
• Brown the onions, stir in the masala with salt and a splash of water, and fry until the oil separates.
• Add the beef, sauté for 10 to 15 minutes, then add water, cover and simmer until tender and the gravy has thickened.
