Century Chatpate Masala 50g

Century Chatpate Masala is a tangy, salty and spicy seasoning for chatpate and other street snacks, in a 50 g pack. It is made in Nepal, and Ambika Japan lists salt, coriander, red chilli, ajwain, cumin, mint, fennel, mango, bay leaf, fenugreek and citric acid as its ingredients.

How to use

• For chatpate, toss puffed rice or crushed instant noodles with chopped onion, tomato, cucumber and green chilli, then add the masala, a little mustard oil and lemon juice.
• Sprinkle over cut fruit, salads or boiled potatoes.
• It already contains salt, so taste before adding more.
