Century Meat Masala 50g

Century Meat Masala is a ground spice blend from Nepal for meat curries, in a 50 g pack. Its listed ingredients are black cardamom, black pepper, nutmeg, mace, dried ginger, cloves, cumin, garlic, turmeric, red chilli, fenugreek, coriander, cassia and salt. Use it for mutton curry and other slow-cooked meat dishes.

How to use

• Brown sliced onion in oil, add ginger-garlic paste, tomato and the masala, and fry until the oil separates before the meat goes in.
• Simmer the meat in the masala on low heat until tender, adding water for as much gravy as you like.
• The blend already has salt, so taste before seasoning.
• Reseal the pack tightly and keep it away from light.
