Radhuni Kala Bhuna Masala 80g

Radhuni Kala Bhuna Masala is a spice mix for kala bhuna, the dark, dry-cooked beef dish of Chittagong, in an 80 g pack. It comes as two spice packets: a large one for the start of cooking and a small one for the end.

How to use

• The maker's recipe uses the whole pack for 2 kg of boneless beef, enough for 7 to 8 people.
• Mix the beef with the large packet, chopped onion, mustard oil, tomato sauce, soy sauce, salt and a cup of water, then cook covered on high heat.
• When the meat is tender and the gravy thick, add the small packet and keep stirring on low heat until the gravy dries and the meat turns almost black.
• Serve with naan, paratha or polao and a salad.
