Ambika Kasoori Methi 100g

Ambika Kasoori Methi is dried fenugreek leaf in a 100 g pack. Ambika Japan lists India as the origin and methi leaf as the only ingredient, and describes a soft, sweet aroma that it calls essential in butter chicken. It also suits meat curries and gives stir-fried vegetables an Indian touch.

How to use

• Warm the leaves briefly in a dry pan, crush them between your palms, pick out any stalks and sprinkle over a creamy curry just before serving.
• Knead a spoonful into dough for paratha, chapati or naan.
• Use it sparingly, as too much turns a dish bitter.
