Khichuri Mix Radhuni 500g

Radhuni Khichuri Mix is rice, green gram (moong) and ground spices together in one 500 g pack, for making Bangladeshi khichuri in a single pot. It is made in Bangladesh, and the listed ingredients are rice, green gram, salt, chilli, turmeric, black pepper, coriander, cumin, aniseed, ginger, garlic, cardamom, cinnamon and bay leaf.

How to use

• Fry chopped onion in 6 tablespoons of oil until light brown, then stir in the whole pack for a minute or two.
• Pour in 1.5 litres of water, add 5 or 6 whole green chillies, and cover.
• Once the water is absorbed, leave it on low heat for 15 to 20 minutes. One pack serves 4 to 5.
• Salt is already in the mix. A spoonful of ghee on top adds aroma.
