MDH Chicken Curry Masala 100g

MDH Chicken Curry Masala is a ground spice blend for chicken simmered in a spiced yoghurt gravy, in a 100 g pack. Ambika Japan gives India as the origin. Its ingredient list opens with coriander, chilli, turmeric, cumin and fenugreek, and includes salt and asafoetida.

How to use

• The pack recipe uses 15 g of masala for 1 kg of chicken cut into eight pieces, so one pack covers about six curries.
• Brown three chopped onions in oil or ghee, add three chopped tomatoes, a little deggi mirch, the masala and salt, and stir-fry for 2 to 3 minutes.
• Fry the chicken in it for 10 minutes, stir in 100 g beaten yoghurt and 60 ml water, then cover and cook on low for 20 minutes.
• Finish with a squeeze of lemon and a pinch of kasoori methi.
