Pran Borhani Mix 100g

Pran Borhani Mix is a spice mix for borhani, the savoury yogurt drink served at Bangladeshi weddings and feasts, in a 100 g pack. It is made in Bangladesh by PRAN, and a retailer lists sugar, salt, cumin seed, coriander, black pepper and white mustard seed as its ingredients.

How to use

• Whisk plain yogurt with cold water until smooth, then stir in the mix a spoonful at a time to taste.
• Blend in a few mint or coriander leaves, and a green chilli for a sharper drink.
• Chill well and pour it alongside kacchi biryani, polao or roast chicken.
• Keep in a cool, dry place.
