Pran chatpati Masala 50g

Pran Chatpati Masala is a spice blend for chotpoti, the tangy Bengali street snack of yellow peas and potato, in a 50 g pack. PRAN makes it in Bangladesh from coriander, cumin, chilli, salt, black pepper, cardamom, cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves, with monosodium glutamate as a taste enhancer.

How to use

• Boil dried yellow peas with a little turmeric and salt until soft, then add diced boiled potato.
• Stir in the masala with tamarind water and top with chopped onion, green chilli, coriander leaves and grated boiled egg.
• Sprinkle a pinch over fuchka fillings or jhal muri.
• Keep in a cool, dry place.
