Radhuni Turmeric powder 200g

Radhuni Turmeric Powder is ground turmeric, holud gura in Bengali, in a 200 g pack. It is the spice behind the golden colour of Bengali curries, dal and fish dishes, and in Japan it is also called ukon. Radhuni is a brand of Square Food & Beverage Ltd in Bangladesh, which sells this powder in sizes from 25 g up to 1 kg.

How to use

• Rub fish pieces with turmeric and salt before frying, the first step in most Bengali fish dishes.
• Stir a little into the oil with the onions and other ground spices; a small amount colours a whole pot.
• Add a pinch to lentils as they boil for yellow dal.
• Wipe spills quickly, as it stains counters and cloth.
